The Families in Transition Office with CMCSS is hosting our 4th Annual Back to School Bash July 18th at Kenwood High School. This is a community event to supply students with the necessary items to start the next school year in August. At this event the FIT Office gives out backpacks, school supplies, brand new shoes, hair cuts/hair braiding, food, hygiene products, games, giveaways, inflatables, and more. This is a free event for all who attend. Every year this event grows and this year we are predicting roughly 3,000 attendees. Because of this, the FIT Office is reaching out to the wonderful community of Clarksville to request volunteers to help us make this event run smoothly and be a fantastic experience for all the students and families attending.
Brandon is continuing his mission to feed the homeless and less fortunate. This is his 8th year making a difference. Join him and his volunteers as we partner with LOAVES & FISHES soup kitchen. Over 5000 fed to date, and he's not done. We will fill and distribute Sack lunches and love on the consumers that come through the doors.
Please come out and help a single mom move. She will have everything packed and ready to go, she just needs help loading the truck at her old home and unloading the truck at her new home. The area is Needmore and Tiny Town. The address will be given to those who sign up for the project :)
